“Qisasi Rabguzi” was the first Turkish source dedicated to the
history of prophets, so it found readers in its time and even reached different
parts of the world. Although the creator himself named the work
“Qisasi Rabguzi”, the work became popular among the people under the
name “Qisasul Anbiyo” (“The Tale of the Prophets”) and passed from
hand to hand. copied in copies, taken to different parts of the world and
delivered to the people.
Therefore, the need for a comparative study of the work was
always considered urgent. In this article, a copy of Nasiruddin Rabguzi’s
“Qisasi Rabguzi” which is considered to be an ancient manuscript copy
kept in the British Museum in the 15th century, a copy copied in Kazan
in the 16th century, and a rare copy kept in the Institute of Manuscripts
named after Abu Rayhan Beruni of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the
inventory number 1834, is analyzed in the text of the work. Analytical
comments about the changes and their reasons are given
